Burberry launches latest collection in partnership with King’s Highgrove Gardens

Burberry has launched its latest collection created in partnership with Highgrove Gardens, which surround the private residence of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

To mark the fifth creative collaboration, a watercolour depicting Birkhall on the Balmoral Estate serves as the focal point for the collection’s prints and “inspires its verdant colour palette”.

Rooted in a shared appreciation for the British countryside, the Highgrove x Burberry capsule reimagines Burberry signatures, including the ‘Waterloo’ trench coat, the ‘Mayfair’ trench jacket and a car coat, crafted in England from organically grown cotton gabardine and finished with detachable wool-cashmere warmers.

Layering options include a quilted jacket in lightweight nylon with corduroy trims, alongside a wool sweater intarsia-knitted with His Majesty’s artwork.

Designs are enriched with Burberry’s iconic house check, refreshed in a bay green palette created exclusively for the collection and featured across outerwear, cashmere scarves made in Scotland, linings and silk accessories.

Highgrove Gardens, which are beautifully landscaped with a variety of themed areas, cover around 15 acres and are managed by His Majesty’s flagship nature and sustainability charity, The King’s Foundation.

Highgrove is renowned for its organic gardening principles and emphasis on sustainability, reflecting King Charles III’s long-standing interest in environmental conservation. It is also home to The King’s Foundation’s educational workshops, which teach young people traditional heritage skills.

Earlier this week, Frasers Group announced it had increased its stake in Burberry to 7.4% through put options, up from the 6.32% disclosed earlier this month.

The move comes as Frasers continues to expand its interests in the luxury sector. The group owns luxury department store Flannels and acquired Harvey Nichols out of administration in August. It is also pursuing a takeover of German fashion group Hugo Boss, in which it has built a significant stake.

Last week, Frasers outlined a new luxury strategyintended to bring its UK and US luxury businesses and investments together under a single platform, with ambitions to expand internationally.

Burberry has been pursuing a turnaround focused on its British heritage products and renewed customer demand. The company reported a 5% rise in comparable sales in the quarter to the end of June 2026, marking its fourth consecutive quarter of comparable growth, with revenue reaching £455 million.
