Viet Nam welcomes nearly 20 million foreign visitors in first ten months

In October alone, Viet Nam received 1.85 million international visitors, up 4.9 percent from the previous month and 7 percent year on year.

Among Viet Nam's top 10 source markets, China took the lead with nearly 4.4 million visitors, followed by South Korea with 3.4 million visitors; Russia with 1.25 million visitors; Taiwan with 1.07 million visitors. These are four markets contributing over 10 million visitors to Viet Nam since the beginning of the year.

Europe is also the region that contributes the most to the overall increase in inbound tourists to Viet Nam, with about 1.09 million arrivals compared to the same period last year. Among them, Russia is the most prominent market, increasing by 150 percent, and is the largest source market in the region.

Viet Nam targets 25 million international visitors in 2026./.
