Learn moreOn September 2, 2026, Phreesia, Inc. (NYSE:PHR) reported second-quarter fiscal 2027 results for the period ended July 31, 2026. Revenue rose 10% to $129.5 million and adjusted EBITDA climbed to $32.9 million from $22.1 million a year earlier, a 25% margin. Net income reached $1.9 million, marking the company's fifth consecutive quarter of profitability. Management reaffirmed full-year revenue guidance of $510 million to $520 million and adjusted EBITDA of $125 million to $135 million.
The disagreement on Wall Street is about what that reaffirmation actually signals.
Improving Margins and Cash Flow Support the Upside
Wells Fargo found the highlight in Network Solutions, which grew 9% year-over-year, and pointed to the ProviderConnect pilot delivering a 4% prescription lift in a GLP-1 campaign that management says is generating follow-on business; the firm raised its target on Phreesia, Inc. (NYSE:PHR) to $10 from $9 while holding an Equal Weight rating.
DA Davidson stayed at Buy despite trimming its target on Phreesia, Inc. (NYSE:PHR) to $13 from $14, arguing the stock sold off on a reiterated guide even though network solutions activity is tracking more encouragingly than the prior outlook and AccessOne is opening a growing opportunity in alternative consumer payment options.
Baird analyst Joe Vruwink lifted his target to $11 from $10 at Neutral after updating his model.
The cash story underneath is real. Operating cash flow reached $18.3 million and free cash flow $13.8 million, both up year-over-year, and Phreesia used that plus existing reserves to retire more than $23 million in debt principal during the quarter. The May restructuring, which eliminated roughly 220 positions at an estimated $10 million total cost, is expected to be substantially complete in fiscal 2027.
Slower Growth and Reduced Visibility Keep the Risk Elevated
Raymond James moved to the sidelines on September 8, 2026, downgrading Phreesia, Inc. (NYSE:PHR) to Market Perform from Outperform without a price target. The firm acknowledged that the results modestly exceeded expectations but pointed to slowing organic growth, heavier AI spending, mounting pressure on healthcare IT clients, strategic uncertainty, and muted investor demand for slower-growing healthcare IT stocks. In its view, a reasonable valuation alone does not offset these concerns.
Management's own language supports the caution. CFO Balaji Gandhi said there is now more variability in network solutions revenue forecasting, particularly in the second half of each fiscal year. CEO Chaim Indig described healthcare providers as under a significant amount of strain. Phreesia, Inc. (NYSE:PHR) moderated subscription pricing to help clients absorb costs, and Wells Fargo flagged that subscription pressure is likely to stay a near-term overhang.
