TANATEX Chemicals and Transfar Chemicals brought together approximately 70 colleagues representing 22 nationalities for the 2026 Global Technology Conference, held from 6 to 8 October in the Netherlands. The three-day event focused on knowledge sharing, technical expertise, market insights and international collaboration to address the evolving challenges of the textile industry.
The conference provided a platform for colleagues from different regions to exchange perspectives, discuss business priorities and explore opportunities to strengthen the companies’ global operations. Discussions covered technology and product strategies, market developments and real-life business cases, highlighting the importance of collaboration across diverse markets.
A key component of the programme was a series of interactive workshops in which international teams explored new business opportunities, product globalisation, cross-market collaboration and regional product plans for 2027. Participants presented their ideas and proposals, encouraging dialogue and alignment on future business priorities.
The conference also highlighted strategies to strengthen global customer engagement, enhance technical support and deliver greater value to customers across international markets. By bringing together technical knowledge and regional market experience, the event aimed to support more coordinated approaches to customer needs and industry challenges.
Beyond technical sessions and strategic discussions, the gathering offered an opportunity to strengthen professional relationships among colleagues who work across different countries and regions. The event reinforced the importance of shared expertise and teamwork in developing solutions for the global textile industry.
The conference took place across the Netherlands, with visits spanning Nijmegen, Ede, Arnhem and Utrecht. The late-autumn weather, alternating between rain and sunshine, added to the experience of the international gathering.
The 2026 Global Technology Conference concluded with a shared commitment to continued innovation, stronger international collaboration and greater value creation for employees, customers and the wider textile industry.
