  • The A10s focuses on exclusive styling and comfort upgrades, with a CLTC range of 505 km.
  • A10 deliveries fell 24.08% month-on-month to 24,457 in September, still accounting for nearly a quarter of Leapmotor's monthly total.

Leapmotor (HKEX: 9863) has launched the A10s, a small battery-electric SUV that expands its A10 lineup with exclusive styling and comfort upgrades as the company steps up its year-end sales push.

The Chinese electric vehicle maker announced the launch on Sunday, with a list price of 92,800 yuan ($13,810), 6,000 yuan above the A10's previously top-trim 505 LiDAR variant.

Listed as the "A10 505S" in the specifications table, the A10s features a single front-mounted motor producing 90 kW (121 hp) and a 53 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, delivering a CLTC range of 505 km.

Those core specifications match the A10 505 LiDAR variant, indicating that the new version primarily differentiates itself through styling and comfort features rather than increased power or range.

The model comes in an exclusive "Mirror Night Black" paint finish, with gunmetal-gray brand emblems, 18-inch black sport wheels and a red "S" badge at the rear.

The cabin features a "Modern Gray" color scheme, with red stitching and headrest embroidery on faux-suede seats. It also adds suction-type ventilation for the front seats and ambient lighting in the rear.

The A10s is equipped with LiDAR, a Qualcomm SA8295 cockpit chip and an SA8650 driver-assistance chip, supporting urban, highway and parking-space-to-parking-space navigation assistance.

Those driver-assistance features are also available on the A10 505 LiDAR variant. Charging from 30% to 80% takes about 16 minutes, unchanged from that version.

Dimensions are also unchanged, at 4,270 mm long, 1,810 mm wide and 1,635 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,605 mm and a 5-seat layout.

The A10s arrives after the A10 recorded its first month-on-month delivery decline since launch, though the model remains a major contributor to Leapmotor's sales.

A10 deliveries totaled 24,457 in September, down 24.08% from August's record 32,214, and accounted for 23.15% of Leapmotor's monthly total, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
