Batches open every month HUE Legacy Ventures presents

GenXis: Gen X is yours to define.

You define the DNA of your generation.

The new generation has no boundaries of innovation. GenXis puts a leading corporation's hardest problem in front of trained young engineers, inside the company's own walls. When the proof of concept works, a new company is born, and the people who built it own most of it.

  • Monthly a new batch opens, and goes live as soon as its problem can be solved
  • No cash from the host corporation, only its room, know-how and servers
  • 60% of every new company belongs to the team that built it

The idea

Real problems. Young talent. A company they own.

Every large corporation has problems it never gets round to solving. Every new generation of engineers has the energy to solve them, and no way in. GenXis connects the two, inside the corporation's own walls.

The corporation brings the problem

A real, important problem from the business, plus the room, the know-how and the servers to work on it. No cash is asked of it.

The team builds the proof

Trained engineers, with mentors beside them, build a proof of concept using the best AI and engineering tools available.

The builders own the result

When the corporation verifies the proof, a new company is set up, and the team that built it owns 60% of it.

How it works

From a corporate problem to a company, in five steps

A new batch opens every month. The moment a batch's problem is judged solvable, the batch goes live.

  1. Open

A corporation posts a real problem. A new batch opens every month.

  2. Gate 0

A small board for that batch decides whether the problem can be solved. If it can, the batch is active immediately.

  3. Build

The squad works on the corporation's premises, trained and certified by DevPlus, with mentors and free tools.

  4. Verify

The corporation tests the proof of concept itself and signs it off.

  5. Found

A new company is set up around the result. If the proof does not hold, the batch is closed and its cost is written off as a grant.

Who does what

Fund. Host. Teach. Lead. Equip.

Five parties, each doing one thing well. Each corporation that joins runs a chapter named for it: [Your Company] GenXis.

Fund

HUE Legacy Ventures

Provides the initial foundation fund and pays the programme's costs. Other venture capital networks join to back the companies that follow.

Host

The corporation

Shares its facilities, its knowledge and the server build, in kind and never in cash, and verifies the proof of concept.

Teach

DevPlus

Trains the talents and issues the certificate.

Lead

The Program Board

Sets the standards. Every batch also has its own board, which decides whether its problem can be solved.

Equip

Tool partners

Their software is free to use while the proof of concept is built. Once it succeeds, the new company pays their fees.

Who owns what

The builders own most of it

The intellectual property belongs to the initial collaborators, through the company that is set up when a proof of concept succeeds.

  • Ownership begins with the company. There is no shared IP or equity until the new company exists, after a successful proof of concept.
  • The team splits its 60% by its own agreement. Mentors are part of the team, and vesting applies.
  • The host pays no cash. It contributes facilities, knowledge and the server build, and still owns 20%.
  • If a proof does not succeed, no company is formed. The cost is written off as a grant.

Hard technology

Weeks to prove it. Years to perfect it.

GenXis starts with AI and semiconductors, and is built to grow into clean energy and robotics. Chips and materials run at two speeds.

Weeks

The fast lane

A short-term problem, such as a new substance for cooling, can be proven or ruled out within weeks, inside the monthly batch.

Years

The slow lane

A long-term semiconductor lab takes a proven idea further: design, testing and scale-up, until it is ready to make.

Questions

Before you ask

What does a corporation pay?

No cash. It shares facilities, knowledge and the server build, and it verifies the result. In return it owns 20% of any company that follows.

How often do batches open?

Every month. When a batch's own board judges its problem solvable, the batch goes live immediately.

Who owns the intellectual property?

The initial collaborators, through the new company: HUE Legacy Ventures 20%, the host corporation 20% and the team 60%. Ownership exists only once that company is set up.

What if the proof of concept does not work?

No company is formed, and the cost of the batch is written off as a grant.

Where does the work happen?

Inside the host corporation's own premises, on servers it builds, so the company's data can stay where it is.

Is it only for AI?

No. The programme spans AI and software, semiconductors, clean energy and robotics. It starts with AI and semiconductors.
