AI infrastructure company Granite has secured €4 million in funding in a round led by Bifrost Studios, alongside private investors, to commercialise its technology and bring its software and hardware together for customers.
The company is building what it calls an “agentic cloud”, infrastructure designed specifically for AI agents rather than adapted for them. Its platform combines compute, storage and networking with Granite’s own operating and AI orchestration software.
Granite delivers its infrastructure through modular datacentres, consisting of containerised units that house compute, storage and networking and can be deployed where power is available. The company offers its infrastructure through cloud services as well as dedicated systems that organisations can operate under their own control.
The platform also includes a layer for managing AI agents, providing them with memory, permissions and tools. According to Granite, this approach is designed to give organisations greater control over where their AI workloads run and the underlying technology they use.

The new funding will support the commercialisation of the technology, including bringing Granite’s software and hardware together to deliver AI infrastructure to customers.
