Nykaa shares rise 4% as Q2 FY27 update points to strong growth across beauty, fashion
Shares of FSN E-Commerce Ventures, the parent company of Nykaa, rose 4.12% to Rs 338.35 in Monday's trading session after the company reported continued growth momentum across its Beauty and Fashion businesses in the second quarter of FY27.

Nykaa said consolidated GMV growth is expected to be in the high 20s, while net sales value (NSV) growth is expected to be in the early 30s. Consolidated net revenue growth is expected to be in the high 20s, supported by the scaling-up of the Fashion vertical and steady growth in Beauty. The company said its Beauty business is expected to post NSV and net revenue growth in the high 20s.

The beauty vertical continued to benefit from strong omnichannel performance, driven by new customer additions and repeat engagement. Nykaa added 14 net-new stores during the quarter, bringing its total store count to 338 as of September 30, 2026. Like-for-like store sales growth was in the low 20s, marking the strongest performance in the last six quarters. The House of Nykaa portfolio also continued to grow faster than the overall Beauty business.

The fashion vertical remained a key growth driver, with NSV growth expected to be in the early forties and net revenue growth in the low 40s during Q2 FY27. Customer acquisition remained strong, while more than 250 brands were added across categories during the quarter, expanding the platform's product assortment. The company's partnership with Nike also continued to gain traction, helped by exclusive product drops.

Nykaa noted that a larger portion of the festive season falls in the third quarter this year, resulting in some festive-led growth shifting from Q2 to Q3. However, the company said it remains confident about its underlying growth drivers and long-term growth ambitions.

The company stated in its disclaimer that the revenue update for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, is provisional and subject to limited review by its statutory auditors. It added that the update was issued voluntarily and does not constitute financial results or earnings guidance. All growth figures are reported on a year-on-year basis.
