IT之家 10 月 31 日消息，由于欧盟监管要求，苹果已在欧盟能效标签中公布 iPad mini 8 的电池信息，容量显示为 4900mAh。
这意味着苹果 iPad mini 8 的电池略小于前代 iPad mini 的 5034mAh。以能量计算，苹果 iPad mini 8 的电池为 18.9Wh，前代为 19.3Wh。不过，苹果官网对两代续航估计相同，A20 Pro 芯片的能效提升抵消了电池缩减。
新款 iPad mini 配备 8.5 英寸 OLED 超视网膜 XDR 显示屏，通过 Acoustic Display 技术实现立体声音频，支持 Wi-Fi 7，机身比前代薄 15% 且更轻。该机已开启预购，将于 11 月 6 日周五正式发售，国行售价 5499 元起（IT之家注：叠加国补后低至 4999 元起）。
