The orientation program for the new students of the 5th batch of the 2026-27 academic year was held at Jamalpur Textile Institute (JTI). The JTI family organized the program in the institute auditorium.
A.N.M. Tarikul Islam, Director (Joint Secretary), Administration and Finance, Department of Textiles, attended as chief guest. Engineer Md. Saifur Rahman, Deputy Director (Administration), Department of Textiles, attended as special guest. Principal Engineer A.K.M. Monjurul Haque presided over the program.
Instructors Engineer Kamal Hossain, Aminul Islam, Jesmin Akter, Rashedujjaman, Mahfuzur Rahman and Subal Chandra Debnath, along with all other instructors and staff of the institute, were also present.
Members of the Jamalpur Textile Institute Rover Scout Group volunteered to ensure the orientation ran smoothly and in an orderly manner. They guided the new students and assisted in various activities. The organizers expressed hope that this event, combining education, friendship, sports and mutual harmony, would inspire the new students on their journey ahead.
